Unveiling of the Orbitas tree of memories at Macclesfield Crematorium

December 2015

The Orbitas tree of memories

On  the 14th December, the Orbitas Tree of Memories was unveiled by Cllr David Marren. The tree will provide bereaved relatives and friends with a new opportunity to display a tribute to their loved ones. The tree is positioned in the entrance to the Crematorium Chapel and represents the beauty of life, enduring strength and eternal peace.  It is individually hand-crafted to a lustrous bronze effect, but as well as being a beautiful and lasting piece of art it will also be meaningful to those wishing to remember their loved ones.

The tree allows personalised engraved leaves to be added to the branches to create a stunning and poignant lasting collection of memories.  For further information please contact Macclesfield cemetery office, telephone 01625 383946.

Councillor David Marren, Chairman of Orbitas Bereavement Services said:

“I am pleased that we are able to offer such a special way for people to remember their loved ones.   This is a beautiful art installation that celebrates the memories of those we have loved and lost in a respectful and elegant way, it will provide a focus for family and friends who wish to have a memorial at the Crematorium.”
