Due to temporary staffing issues the offices at Crewe and Macclesfield will be closed to visitors until, at the earliest, Monday 27 September 2021. Please post any documents to the office or use the letterbox on site. If you have any queries please email email@example.com. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We have increased the seated capacity in the chapels at Crewe and Macclesfield crematoria to 48 mourners. Additional mourners are welcome to stand outside the chapel where they will be able to listen to the service via our external speakers. Alternatively, our live webcast service is still available by arrangement for those unable to attend a funeral in person.
Seating plans for each chapel have been issued to Funeral Directors to help you plan the event. Singing is now allowed during a service but we will not be reintroducing hymn books for the foreseeable future.
It is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering when attending a funeral. However we strongly recommend their continued use and hand sanitiser dispensers will remain available at the entrance and exit to our chapels.
However please feel free to contact the offices at Crewe and Macclesfield if you would like clarification of the above or have any other query.
